We鈥檙e thrilled to welcome you to our campus, our classrooms, and our Hornet family. Until move-in day, there are a few important steps to complete. This checklist will help you stay organized and finish all the necessary tasks so you鈥檙e ready to start strong. You鈥檒l also find step-by-step instructions, links, and helpful resources in the Admissions Resource Center.
TO DO FOR NOW
#1: ACCESS THE MORRIS COLLEGE STUDENT
PORTAL. Check the email you received from [email protected]. It contains your 麻豆社 student ID number, which you鈥檒l use to activate your official morris.edu email account. This login also gives you access to the Student Portal, where you鈥檒l manage classes, financial aid, and more.

#2: ACCESS MYHORNETSWEB.
Inside the Student Portal, you鈥檒l find MyHornetsWeb. Here, you can check your financial aid package, payment details, grades, and key updates. Start using it as soon as possible to stay on track.

#3: CONFIRM YOUR ENROLLMENT.
To officially secure your spot in the Hornet family, you鈥檒l need to pay your enrollment deposit. While you have until May 1, 2025, to complete this step, paying early helps you lock in housing and course preferences.
#4: COMPLETE THE FAFSA.
Your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required for us to determine your eligibility for grants, scholarships, and other aid. Submit it as early as possible.

#5: REVIEW COLLEGE COSTS AND AID OPTIONS.
Understand tuition, housing, and meal plan costs along with scholarships, loans, and grants. 麻豆社 automatically considers you for select scholarships, but it鈥檚 important to explore all your financial aid opportunities.

#6: TAKE PLACEMENT ASSESSMENTS.
To place you in the right courses, you鈥檒l complete math and English assessments. If you have transfer credits, some assessments may not be required.

#7: SUBMIT HEALTH RECORDS.
All new students must submit their health forms before enrolling in classes or moving into housing. This ensures campus health and safety.
TO DO IN JANUARY
#4: SUBMIT YOUR FAFSA.
Your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be completed so we can determine if you qualify for additional grant funding.

#8: SELECT YOUR CAMPUS HOUSING AND MEAL PLANS.
You鈥檒l make housing and meal plan selections through MyPortal. Remember that all previous checklist items must be completed first.

TO DO IN APRIL
#8: ATTEND ADMITTED STUDENT WEEKEND.
This spring event introduces you to campus life, the Hornet community, and the enrollment process. You鈥檒l also get answers to your questions and meet future classmates.
TO DO IN MAY 鈥� JUNE
#10: VIEW AND PAY YOUR BILL.
From May 10 to June 30, 2025, you can view and pay your bill through MyHornetsWeb

#11: ACADEMIC ADVISEMENT.
Between May 10 and June 30, 2025, you鈥檒l participate in advisement sessions with your divisional advisor to discuss course registration and your first-year plan.

#12: SUBMIT FINAL TRANSCRIPTS.
Final high school or transfer transcripts are due by August 1, 2025. Use the Applicant Status Portal to confirm they鈥檝e been received.
#13: RESOLVE YOUR BALANCE.
Your class registration may be dropped if your balance is not resolved. Make sure to pay on time or confirm aid coverage.

#14: GET YOUR HORNET ID CARD.
Your 麻豆社 ID card grants you access to housing, dining, and campus activities. Complete your enrollment deposit first, then request your ID to make it official: you鈥檙e part of the Hornet family!
